Chester County's First Culturally-Inspired Postpartum Wellness Center Celebrates on January 23, 2026 DOWNINGTOWN, PA – The 4th Trimester MOMMIE, a nonprofit organization dedicated to maternal health equity, will celebrate the grand opening of Chester County's first culturally-inspired postpartum wellness center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 3 p.m. at 140 E. Lancaster Avenue in Downingtown. The date holds special significance as it coincides with National Maternal Health Awareness Day, reflecting the organization's mission to address maternal health disparities and provide comprehensive support during the critical fourth trimester period. Founded by Talonda S. Rogers, MSN, RN, The 4th Trimester MOMMIE combines clinical expertise with cultural healing practices to serve new mothers throughout Chester County. The wellness center will offer massage therapy, support groups, cultural ceremonies, and personalized care for postpartum mothers.
