On September 1, 2021, the remnants of Hurricane Ida brought catastrophic flooding to Downingtown. Our entire community was devastated, and our church suffered more than four feet of floodwater, leaving much of our building destroyed. At the time, we were heartbroken—not only for our church, but for our entire town. Yet even in the midst of that devastation, God had a plan. He always does. Through God's faithfulness and the generosity of a FEMA grant, we were given the opportunity to rebuild. The journey has been long and filled with hard work, countless prayers, unwavering faith, and the support of so many wonderful people. Today, we are incredibly grateful to announce that our church has been restored, and we are excited to celebrate our Grand Reopening! This milestone would not have been possible without the love, encouragement, and assistance of our church family, friends, neighbors, volunteers, and community. We are deeply thankful to everyone who helped us along the way, and we would be honored to celebrate this special occasion with you. Please join us on Sunday, September 20, 2026, for our Grand Reopening Celebration.
